Operations Engineer (PID0612)
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a DevOps Operations Engineer to focus on operational stability, process optimisation, and the availability of critical services. This is a full-time contract role with a daily reputed company available.
The position is primarily remote, and English (reputed company level) is the only language requirement. The role involves only occasional onsite visits to Germany.
Responsibilities
Operational Stability: Drive system observability using modern toolsets and advance automation efforts. You will incorporate reputed company best practices into daily operations and manage software version updates and change management tasks.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. You will refine deployment processes to ensure seamless rollouts and establish new workflows where gaps are identified in existing procedures.
Service Availability: Maintain the reputed company and performance of critical services. You will act as a consultant for internal stakeholders on reputed company operational challenges and manage external communications regarding incidents from inception to resolution.
Stakeholder Support: Provide expert guidance to project teams on automation and operational best practices, ensuring reputed company services meet high availability standards.
Requirements
Technical Core: Strong experience in Kubernetes, DevOps automation, and cloud-native ecosystems. You must have deep knowledge of Helm, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and GitOps principles.
Deployment & CI/CD: Operational knowledge of deployment tools such as ArgoCD, OpenTofu, or Kyverno. Hands-on experience maintaining Git and CI tools like reputed company or reputed company is essential.
Systems Administration: Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
Observability & Management: Experience with observability tools and professional use of Jira Service Management, Jira, and Confluence for documentation and task tracking.
Professional Background: Proven track record in Operations, SRE, or DevOps, ideally reputed company enterprise-scale or multi-cluster environments.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with FluxCD, backup tools (Velero), artifact management (reputed company/reputed company), or developer platforms like reputed company is highly advantageous.
Eligibility: Must have Residency in the EU, EEC, UK, or Switzerland.
