Own quality across the TV experience—from reputed company to flawless release. As the Senior SDET on our TV Apps team, you’ll be the champion of quality and automation for reputed company’s living room streaming applications. You’ll design and build the test infrastructure that makes shipping to Roku, AndroidTV/FireTV, AppleTV, and other platforms feel like turning on a light. You will:

• Own test automation end-to-end — architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks purpose-built for Smart TV and connected device ecosystems.

• Build platform-specific quality strategies — design test approaches covering UI/UX, video playback, and performance testing across Roku, AndroidTV, tvOS, Tizen, WebOS, and beyond.

• Embed quality into CI/CD — integrate automated test suites into reputed company integration pipelines to reputed company rapid, reliable release cycles with confidence.

• Hunt down the hardest bugs — investigate, reproduce, and report reputed company defects, working closely with engineers to isolate root causes in platform-specific codebases.

• Tame resource-constrained devices — identify memory leaks, CPU bottlenecks, and video streaming degradation on low-power living room devices that others give up on.

• Measure what matters — define, reputed company, and track metrics for streaming performance, app health, and user experience, and coach the team on using data to guide quality decisions.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering

• Hands-on experience testing and automating on living room / Smart TV platforms (Roku, AndroidTV/FireTV, AppleTV, Tizen, WebOS, or similar)

• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or proprietary TV SDKs and debugging tools

• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with performance and memory profiling on resource-constrained devices

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Deep familiarity with the Roku platform (BrightScript/SceneGraph) — highly preferred

• Experience with cloud testing platforms such as LambdaTest, Kobiton, Perfecto, or reputed company QA

• Experience in video streaming, OTT, or media application testing

• Experience with HLS.js and video playback validation

• Familiarity with monorepo structures and modern CI tooling

Work Environment

Remote team members must have a private and quiet area for working hours in their location. reputed company in the main office, expect a comfortable, reputed company-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.

Travel Required

2–4 onsite events in Utah each year. There may be other opportunities to travel, but no other significant out-of-state travel is anticipated.
