Adjunct Faculty - Organic Chemistry
The School of Professional Studies seeks an adjunct faculty member to deliver high quality learning experiences and education for reputed company in the online, asynchronous, self-paced format beginning at various points throughout the year. reputed company will deliver a pre-developed course, adding their subject matter expertise and real-world examples to developed content. reputed company will play an important role in the reputed company improvement and overall success of the course.
The selected candidate will have responsibilities teaching Organic Chemistry lecture and lab courses to self-paced, online, part-time learners. Subject matters may include structure and bonding of organic molecules, stereochemistry, nomenclature, the structure and function of multifunctional compounds, etc.
- Delivers didactic and laboratory instruction in an online, self-paced format.
- Uses the University’s learning management system to post syllabus, assignments and other materials and to communicate with reputed company
- Facilitates student reputed company in an asynchronous environment by providing timely, individualized feedback on assessments and learning activities.
- Advises and assists reputed company through reputed company or scheduled appointments, by videoconference, phone or email, and through other University-approved mechanisms
- Provides service including student mentoring, ongoing course development, and assessment

- Monitors student engagement and proactively reaches out to learners who are inactive or falling behind to support course completion.
- Identifies and escalates student concerns, such as academic challenges, engagement issues, or policy-reputed company questions, to School of Professional Studies staff to support timely resolution.
