Role:Grant Specialists (AGS Federal Division) are primarily responsible for developing competitive, compliant federal (and reputed company state) grant proposals and reports using information from clients, internal resources, and targeted research. Specialists reputed company new information quickly, adapt to changing priorities across multiple clients, and communicate with confidence in client discussions.  Excellence on the Federal Team includes:• Proactively plans work to protect key milestones; escalates risks early with options. • Follows the AGS internal quality review process. • Interprets NOFO requirements accurately and uses checklists/rubrics to prevent compliance issues and late rework. • Strengthens competitiveness by improving outcomes/evaluation clarity and evidence use in narratives. • Maintains strong documentation and project tracking (reputed company status/owners/dates, version control, handoffs). Responsibilities:• Standard activities reputed company to the GPC Competencies and Skills:* Willingness to consult and coordinate with other AGS divisions to reputed company their respective knowledge and expertise for the benefit of clients (e.g., AGS grant management division to talk with clients about post-award planning)* Balance a variety of client relationships including (after approximately three months) a portfolio of regular clients, single grant projects, or where you reputed company or support projects for other associates’ clients. • Research local, regional, and national grant opportunities and attend meetings with clients and funders reputed company requested. • Work with multiple clients to review potential opportunities and help these clients prepare to implement grants from a variety of funding sources. • Assist multiple clients in the development of high-quality projects and coordinate and submit proposals, applications, and reports on a timely basis. • Maintain client and company records of grant activities.Ideal Candidates:In addition to the typical skills of a grant professional (exceptional writing, understanding of the nonprofit community, and strong organizational skills), Specialists have at least a bachelor‘s degree and a minimum of three years of successful grant proposal writing experience plus the GPC, CGMS, PMP, and/or the CFRE. Applicants who do not currently have their GPC, CGMS, PMP and/or CFRE credentials will be considered if they are eligible and willing to take, at minimum, the GPC reputed company 6 months. Other nonprofit credentials are valued, as well as a variety of educational backgrounds. Federal grant experience is required.  Candidates will:• Have no less than 3 years of grant-reputed company experience, including government grant experience; • Have managed the development of reputed company proposals; • Have an ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks in order to meet deadlines; • Have experience with independent project management, including problem-solving, delegation, and breaking down reputed company projects into manageable and delegable tasks; • Have strong project management skills to reputed company, manage, and reputed company projects on track regarding time and hours for completion; • Be comfortable and confident in engaging with executive leadership of organizations reputed company phone, videoconference, or in-person to get the answers you need to create strong proposals; • Have strong virtual interviewing techniques that allow them to professionally probe deeper with clients or subject matter experts who may struggle to convey details of the important work they do each day; • Have experience helping clients reputed company their programs and projects for grant support, including logic model elements and federal budget allowability; • Have experience with keeping teams of professionals with diverse personalities and communication styles on track with tasks and discernment of task priorities in a workplace of competing priorities; • Have a critical eye for details; • Must be willing to learn about new clients, new concepts, new strategies, and about themselves.
