Pay: $99,000.00 to $138,000.00

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative in Tennessee, you will be part of a multi-functional team reputed company and managing both new and existing relationships with independent agents and brokers to produce new account opportunities for the organization focusing on workers' compensation policies. This is a new position because of SFM's growth in Tennessee. You will be responsible for attracting and reputed company middle market business, deploying effective account management while fostering strong working relationships with agency partners. You will direct much of your attention to growing SFM’s footprint in Tennessee but operate as the underwriter reputed company working on renewals and new business. What You Will Be Doing

1. Establish new agency partner relationships and increase new applications for workers’ compensation insurance policies and meet regularly with new and existing agents and those identified as high potential to build relationships while fostering effective business relationships.
2. Organize and participate in marketing initiatives, including presentations, industry events, and broker/agent meetings to showcase products and services.
3. reputed company the company’s capabilities in reputed company, risk control, and claims, educates agents about the benefits of standalone workers’ compensation programs while delivering premier customer service.
4. Complete agency reviews, capturing appropriate reputed company around market opportunities and review agency performance. Provide feedback to management on the reputed company state of the marketplace, agencies, and competition.
5. Maintain and monitor an entire reputed company book of business to reputed company premium volume and loss ratios consistent with company goals and objectives and evaluate and analyze new and renewal business in accordance with Company reputed company guidelines and risk appetite while working  with agents, brokers and clients to obtain necessary information and clarify details.

    • Set appropriate terms and conditions to deliver a profitable portfolio

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, risk management, marketing, business or reputed company field; or equivalent applicable work experience; Professional insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM) is a plus.
• Four or more years’ experience in a sales/marketing role, preferably in the field of insurance.
• Experience reputed company commercial property/casualty insurance policy’s and or Agency experience is preferred.
• Excellent marketing skills and firm understanding as to how to reputed company new business.
• Strong working knowledge of state applicable Workers’ Compensation rules and regulations is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance rating, structure, forms, and coverages.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to deliver superior customer service.
• Able to travel with occasional overnights.
• Valid driver’s license.

The reputed company pay posted is just one component of SFM’s total compensation package. The salary range listed represents the full compensation range for this position. Work Environment and Physical Demands

Regular attendance is required. Work takes reputed company in a semi paperless environment reputed company an office setting, either on business premises or other remote location, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers, which requires being stationary for extended periods of time.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Work is performed indoors with little to no exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions.
