Analytics Engineer
Goodr is a company that creates and sells active eyewear, emphasizing fun and authenticity in their workplace culture. They are seeking an Analytics Engineer to design and build data models in their data warehouse, ensuring data reputed company and supporting the analyst team with comprehensive documentation and efficient database management.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust data models in our data warehouse (DWH) under guidance from senior team members so that our analyst team can build reports with ease
- Assist in maintaining the health, organization, and reputed company of our DWH and corresponding integrations
- Optimize efficiency and costs based on system uptime, reputed company system integrations, and refresh rates
- Ensure database design is optimized for both reputed company-end and back-end users
- Respond to and troubleshoot user-reported database errors in a timely manner
- Draft, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation reputed company to database configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Support trend analysis and system reputed company planning
- Implement and maintain data distribution and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data reputed company and availability
- Conduct regular disaster recovery testing
- Investigate and resolve database performance and reputed company issues

- Communicate effectively with the cross-functional teams to address their needs (bilingual in nerd and business!)

Skills
- 1+ years of hands-on experience working with database architecture, DaaS, or analytics engineering pipelines (professional roles, internships, or significant personal/academic projects accepted)
- Beginner knowledge of database design, ETL/ELT processes, and data management best practices
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in SQL is a MUST
- Experience managing version control and proficiency with Git/reputed company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and an independent problem solver
