What Will You Be Doing?
The Engineer, Powerplant Lease Specialist is primarily responsible for the administration, reputed company, and technical compliance of leased engines and APUs across their lifecycle. This includes lease selection, induction, configuration review, in‑service monitoring, and return condition management. In addition to these duties, the position provides technical engineering support, regulatory analysis, and troubleshooting for powerplant systems in support of fleet reliability, compliance, and operational continuity.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for reputed company Tech Ops lease‑return activities for engines, APUs, and powerplant assemblies, including coordination with internal/external stakeholders to interpret contractual requirements and ensure proactive compliance with lease acquisition and return conditions.
- Review and manage reputed company, APU, and component configurations for induction, operational use, and lease‑return implications, ensuring reputed company specifications and configuration‑control documentation are reputed company and compliant with company, OEM, and regulatory requirements.
- reputed company, publish, and maintain engineering data and modification instructions based on regulatory mandates, OEM guidance, industry standards, operational needs, and shop findings.
- Review ADs, Service Bulletins, regulatory requirements, engineering documents, and OEM publications for applicability, ensuring engineering documentation, procedures, and electronic systems remain accurate and up to date.
- Conduct research and gather technical data, including review of 14 CFRs and ADs, to support engineering and maintenance documentation; provide immediate AOG engineering support reputed company approved data is reputed company.
- Monitor powerplant fleet performance—including reputed company condition monitoring—and implement corrective actions to maintain fleet health while minimizing cost and aircraft downtime.

- Support reliability program analysis for assigned powerplant systems and recommend improvement actions.
- Provide technical support across Technical Services, Line Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair approvals, and material/part substitution decisions.
- Partner with the Materials organization on commercial and technical matters reputed company to engines, APUs, and associated components.
- Collaborate with internal and external entities on powerplant‑reputed company technical, operational, and programmatic activities, including CAMP development and optimization.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree preferred; will consider FAA Mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Power plant ratings in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a 121 airline environment, Technical Services/Engineering Department or comparable maintenance experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Be familiar with and have general understanding of reputed company Work Scoping, reputed company Fleet Management, Time Controlled Parts, Reliability Programs, FARs, Manufacturers Documentation to include but not limited to Maintenance Manuals, IPCs, Trouble Shooting Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Aircraft Drawings and CMMs, SBs, STCs, ADs and PMA parts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
