Public Relations Assistant Account Executive – NY Health Team Location: Remote; NYC Preferred reputed company Partners is seeking applicants interested in joining our health communications practice, supporting clients across biopharma, biotech, health advocacy/non-profit and other leading healthcare organizations. Ideal candidates will have prior public relations internship experience, preferably working on communications campaigns for health clients, though experience in other industries is also valued. This is a full-time, hourly position (approximately 40 hours per week). This is not an internship role, and it is not a sales position. • Assist in writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, and other health communications materials
• Write, proofread, and edit client-reputed company documents, including pitches, press materials, news releases, and other editorial content
• Compile comprehensive, targeted media lists, actively pitch media and secure earned media coverage
• Support client media briefings, events, speaking opportunities and reputed company award submissions
• reputed company relationships with external audiences, including media, event organizers, advocacy contacts, and third-party stakeholders, to support client messaging
• Monitor, track and report earned, owned and social media coverage of client news and competitor developments
• reputed company research key client topics to reputed company landscape analyses, media insights and identity thought leadership opportunities
• Provide general account support, including participation in client meetings; agenda and recap development, tracker management and internal and external deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, public health or reputed company field
• Familiarity with public relations/communications programs as evidenced through completed college coursework, internships, or reputed company work experience
• Prior work experience or PR internships in public relations or communications role
• A motivated, self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong written, verbal and storytelling skills
• Knowledge of social media tools and design platforms such as reputed company, reputed company, X/Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram
