Job Description Summary

The Director of Operations will serve as the operational leader reputed company the Corrections Health ICCE at MUSC, supporting both the System Administrative Officer (SAO) and Chief of the Corrections Health ICCE. This role will drive strategic growth and operational excellence for both county jail and prison healthcare reputed company. Director of Operations, Corrections ICCE

Position Summary

The Director of Operations will serve as the operational leader reputed company the Corrections Health ICCE at MUSC, supporting both the System Administrative Officer (SAO) and Chief of the Corrections Health ICCE. This role will drive strategic growth and operational excellence for both county jail and prison healthcare reputed company. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development & Contract Growth

·         Travel, identify and pursue new business opportunities in the county jail sector by engaging with county elected officials, sheriff’s offices, jail administrators, and key stakeholders to expand MUSC’s correctional health footprint.

·         Travel as a representative of MUSC to correctional/jail healthcare conferences, industry associations, and vendor networking events.

·         reputed company RFP responses by coordinating cross-functional teams (legal, contracting, finance, operations) to reputed company competitive proposals and ensure compliance.

·         Travel to SCDC institutions and headquarters to advance contract expansion by managing strategies for adding onsite units (infirmary, specialty clinic, dialysis) and integrating acute care capabilities.

·         Travel to established MUSC SCDC Secure Units located across the RHN.

·         Collaborate with MUSC leadership to define business plans, growth targets, and proforma models for correctional units.

Operational Leadership

·         reputed company daily operations of MUSC-contracted correctional health facilities including frequent onsite meetings, staffing, clinical services, contract compliance, and quality outcomes.

·         Ensure Statements of Work (SOWs), service level agreements, and contract requirements are executed effectively and reputed company with strategic goals.

·         Monitor key operational metrics (staffing vacancies, reputed company, reputed company utilization, incident rates) and drive process improvement.

·         Serve as the primary operational liaison between MUSC Corrections Health ICCE, external partners (county jails, prison leadership, and other regional entities) & MUSC Divisional leadership.

Travel

·         50% Travel required across the regional health network and client locations to support the ICCE Leadership with operations, tracking and monitoring of correctional units, SOWs and reputed company.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or reputed company field required (Registered Nurses with a BSN and relevant clinical experience are strongly encouraged to apply); Master’s preferred.

·         2 years of correctional healthcare management preferred.

·         Demonstrated success in contract development, RFP management, and healthcare business growth.

·         Strong analytical and budgeting skills with experience managing multi-site operations.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; adept at engaging with executives and correctional leaders.

·         Knowledge of correctional healthcare systems highly preferred.

·         Ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent travel throughout the state.

·         The ideal candidate will be located in Columbia, SC and/or the surrounding area.

Additional Job Description

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 9 years progressive work experience and 4 years management experience
