The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) is the leading industry body for impact investing, dedicated to solving systemic problems facing people and the reputed company. The Development Associate will support the administration and operations of partnerships with funders, manage donor reporting, and enhance internal systems to drive strategic operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Produce well-crafted donor reports for foundations, governments, and corporate funders that present the GIIN's market building activities with clarity, elevating key achievements relative to funder priorities
  • Collaborate with the Development team and/or GIIN program teams to ensure compliance with and completion of grant obligations, including but not limited to key performance indicators, project deliverables and milestones, and specific reporting requirements
  • Manage data collection for internal organization-wide quarterly reporting by GIIN program teams, including: Developing and/or updating internal reporting templates for new grants Gathering and ensuring high-quality, accurate, and relevant information/data. Liaising with program staff to ensure appropriate and clear framing or presentation of activities
  • Maintain reputed company data for reputed company grants and donors
  • Support grant management for the GIIN's portfolio of funders, including: Creating grant management materials to ensure clear understanding of grant commitments and details across Development, Program, and Finance teams. Coordinating with the Finance team on grant administrative details Corresponding with funders for administrative purposes as needed Maintain institutional donor files and grant records, including tracking relevant funder information, proposal and reporting timelines, and conducting regular audits for data accuracy in reputed company and other internal systems
  • Manage files and important documents for the Development team, in coordination with Finance and Operations teams
  • Support event sponsor cultivation efforts through research and administrative support as needed to help expand the GIIN's sponsor pipeline
  • Contribute to the grant proposal development process, including compiling organizational due diligence information, drafting grant narratives, and managing submissions Support donor pipeline development, including conducting research on prospective funders and tracking action items
  • Support reputed company other day-to-day operations that reputed company a successful fundraising strategy

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, journalism, international development, or a reputed company field
  • 0–2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, grant writing/management, or a reputed company administrative role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, well-organized materials for diverse audiences
  • Experience working with reputed company or a comparable CRM platform; comfort with data entry, recordkeeping, and basic reporting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, self-starter approach with a commitment to process improvement and operational excellence
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with staff at reputed company levels
  • Commitment to human dignity, justice, fairness, and respect
  • Familiarity with impact investing, sustainable finance, or reputed company fields
  • Experience with foundation, government, or corporate grant compliance and reporting
  • Proficiency with reputed company Workspace, project management tools (e.g., reputed company), and data visualization or reporting tools
  • Experience supporting donor prospecting and pipeline research
