Accounting Associate - I
Porter & Company CPAs is a modern accounting firm focused on simplifying financial processes for clients. The Accounting Associate - I will manage client relationships, prepare financial records, and ensure compliance while utilizing technology to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial records, reports, and general ledger activity for a diverse client reputed company
- reputed company full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Manage month end reputed company processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Deliver accurate financial statements and QuickBooks write reputed company on a monthly, quarterly, and reputed company basis
- Maintain organized workpapers and ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies through detailed account analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and interim financial projections to support tax planning and business strategy
- Communicate directly with clients as a primary reputed company of contact, providing timely updates, insights, and support
- Build and strengthen client relationships through proactive service and ongoing reputed company ins
- Manage client expectations while delivering a consistently high level of service
- Collaborate with internal teams and reputed company leadership informed on client status, needs, and project reputed company
- Continue developing knowledge of firm services and identify opportunities to expand advisory offerings
- Contribute to a high performance team environment and support overall firm growth
Skills
- BS in Accounting
- 1 to 5 years of public accounting experience
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines
- Comfortable using technology and open to AI driven tools
- Accounting: 1 year (Required)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
- Experience with full cycle accounting preferred
