As a Financial Analyst – Level 5 (Staff) located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of reputed company importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position may have the opportunity to be fully remote. Our Financial Analyst will prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. You will monitor funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparing expenditure projections. This role will continually assess and improve financial reporting processes to help enhance overall efficiency. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will:

• Performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements
• Prepares reports of findings and recommendations for management
• Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment
• May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 10 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 8 years of professional experience
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree

• Financial or accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aerospace or Defense Industry experience

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to reputed company pay.
