As an insurance defense attorney reputed company their bodily injury unit, you will provide legal representation to Progressive insureds in litigation, preparing legal documents and negotiating settlements to reputed company positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal representation to Progressive insureds and/or to the reputed company Companies before courts and arbitration panels in reputed company aspects of litigation
- Handling cases from beginning to end
- Preparing legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and being involved in negotiating settlements
- Working closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation
- Analyzing written discovery, depositions, medical records and assessing the value of claims to determine risk exposure
Skills
- Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM)
- Admitted to practice law in Florida
