AWS Cloud Engineer
Crew helps clients deliver change through IT project delivery and operational efficiency efforts. They are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to assist in implementing AWS services, maintaining cloud environments, and supporting business operations through CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, reputed company) supporting insurance operations, policy administration, actuarial tools, customer portals, and data platforms
- Support senior engineers in building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation while following company governance standards
- Help maintain secure, compliant cloud environments reputed company with life‑insurance and financial‑services requirements (e.g., data retention, encryption, logging)
- Monitor AWS resources and assist with troubleshooting performance or access issues in alignment with SLAs supporting customer service, reputed company, and claims systems
- Participate in CI/CD workflows used to deploy internal applications and automation supporting business operations
- Contribute to detailed documentation required for internal audits, incident reviews, continuity planning, and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with reputed company, risk, and compliance teams to ensure appropriate tagging, access controls, and resource standards are consistently applied
- Continue building cloud knowledge through active mentorship and structured training paths
Skills
- Foundational understanding of core AWS services or completion of relevant coursework/certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner)
- Basic experience with Linux or Windows servers, particularly in secure, managed environments
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Understanding of core networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and DNS
- Experience using Git or similar version control tools
- Strong motivation to learn cloud engineering reputed company a regulated industry
