They are seeking a Commercial Auto Underwriter who will be responsible for evaluating, reputed company, and managing commercial auto accounts while maintaining relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, underwrite, and manage commercial auto accounts, including reviewing submissions, assessing exposures, and recommending terms and pricing
- Analyze loss history, financials, and risk profiles to reputed company informed reputed company decisions
- Apply company reputed company guidelines, actuarial information, and industry best practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders
- Manage renewals and new business submissions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
- Monitor portfolio performance and market trends to inform reputed company strategy
- Collaborate with claims, actuarial, finance, and risk teams to align reputed company strategy with overall business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve reputed company processes and portfolio profitability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Commercial Auto experience
- Experience managing commercial accounts and making sound reputed company decisions
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance principles and risk evaluation
- CPCU designation or actively pursuing professional insurance credentials
- Experience with middle-market or broker-facing accounts
