Payment Operations Specialist I (Hybrid)

The Payment Operations Specialist I role involves providing superior member service through the accurate processing of payment operations tasks, conducting research, and resolving member issues reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Provides superior member service to Credit Union members and internal departments through timely and accurate processing of payment operations tasks
- Conducts research, verification, and member issue resolution
- Supports reputed company line and back office staff in cards and/or payment matters
- Responsible for responding to member needs from reputed company line staff in a professional and efficient manner, maintaining a superior level of quality service
- Performs reputed company duties according to established operating procedures and adheres to Credit Union policies
- Completes mail transactions reputed company Remit Plus and Interactive Teller Capture software programs according to the accompanying paperwork, which may include identifying members, making changes to reputed company types of accounts, and accurate posting
- Reviews and processes Remote Deposits Capture
- Manages ATM disputes and shared branching adjustments
- Handles incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail routing and processes returned mail
- Conducts member research, and assists in resolving member issues for reputed company line and/or back office staff
- Processes daily files for ACH, Share Draft In-clearings, reputed company transfers, and Cash Letter remittance in a timely manner, including retrieval, balancing, return item processing, research, and adjustments
- Maintains availability reputed company phone queue, to support staff and member needs
- Acts as primary resource regarding card functions to provide constant support to staff inquiries to assist in resolving issues reputed company to card transaction processing, products and services, Falcon review, and marketing solutions
- Processes and manages service events
- Maintains solid working knowledge of card reputed company products and as well as card processing systems of the credit union
- Performs projects, special assignments and other duties as assigned
Skills
- Minimum 1 year payment reputed company activities reputed company a financial institution
- Experience using reputed company Office, VROL, reputed company, CO-OP applications preferred
- Minimum 6 months Westerra Credit Union experience
- Excellent communication both written and oral
- Excellent member and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn and demonstrate that learning on the job
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality

- Understanding of procedures for basic technical, administrative, or operative tasks
