As a Claims Representative I, you will investigate, negotiate, and settle service claims while contributing to a client service culture through professional interactions and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting and applying coverages, participating in major event responses and negotiating and settling service claims with a focus on behaviour based outcomes
  • Communicating with clients to deliver clear messages and resolve concerns while liaising with stakeholders to ensure the efficient and timely settlement of claims
  • Investigating and identifying opportunities for salvage and subrogation recoveries using approved guidelines and procedures
  • Supporting the organization by sharing claims handling knowledge and feedback to key business partners on process efficiencies to enhance the client experience
  • Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement

Skills

  • Bilingualism in English and French is required
  • You have one year of experience in insurance or in a reputed company field
  • Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams
  • You will be subject to a Background reputed company as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate
  • Having a post-secondary education in insurance or a reputed company discipline
  • Having the Provincial Adjuster Licence (Claim Adjuster and Personal Lines Autorité des Marchés Financiers) and working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and Commercial Licence
  • Consideration is given for reputed company requiring internship hours for the attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in Damage Insurance
  • You have experience working in a contact centre including in-depth knowledge of client service principles
  • Having basic knowledge of insurance and insurance claims, policy wordings, the vehicle repair process, provincial legislations and regulations
