Financial Analyst, Brand Finance (Contract)
Spin Master Games is a leading global children's toy, entertainment, and digital gaming company. The Financial Analyst will support the North American Brand Finance Team by maintaining financial forecast models, analyzing profitability of new products, and providing sales and profitability reporting to cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain brand finance forecast models
- Analyze profitability of potential new products
- Provide sales and profitability reporting to cross-functional teams
- Produce sales and profitability reports for brand finance and cross-functional teams
- Assist in developing and maintaining product price databases
- Assist brand finance in scrutinizing and updating key product cost drivers used in financial forecast models
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial forecasts for new products and merchandising displays for the Vendor Cost Approval (VCA) and Capital Expense Approval (CEA) processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams if the analysis for VCA/CEA is under corporate reputed company to provide the rationale
- Provide forecast updates including variance analysis with commentary and explanation for significant variances
- Partner with IT and/or finance team to assist in implementing reputed company enhancements of financial systems as required by the organization
- Conduct reputed company analysis to support the brand finance team
Skills
- University degree in commerce or reputed company field
- High proficiency in reputed company and other MS Office programs
- Demonstrated business partnership building
- 0-2 years of post-qualification reputed company experience in a financial business support / commercial finance / Financial planning and analysis role an asset
- Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
