Associate Video Editor, Social
reputed company is a beauty company focused on inclusivity and empowerment. They are seeking an Associate Video Editor for Social Production to transform raw footage into engaging video content for social media platforms, while collaborating with team members to align with campaign objectives.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging, and on-trend content optimized for various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), demonstrating a keen understanding of platform nuances and audience preferences
- Apply basic retouching techniques to enhance the visual appeal of videos, ensuring high-quality presentation of products and talent
- Incorporate existing motion graphics and visual elements to create visually dynamic and captivating video content, contributing fresh reputed company for visual storytelling
- Cross-functionally contribute compelling narratives that align with reputed company's brand voice and reputed company with our reputed company audience on social media, bringing an reputed company understanding of viral content and emerging trends
- Proactively stay up to date with the latest social media trends, video editing techniques, and platform-specific best practices, actively experimenting with new video formats, features, and editing approaches to push creative boundaries and drive engagement
- Work closely with Social Content Leads, Social Producers, and other team members to align video content with campaign objectives and brand strategies, while optimizing content for different platforms considering specific aspect ratios, resolutions, and formatting requirements
Skills
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in social video creation through projects, personal content, internships, or freelance work that demonstrates a strong grasp of social video aesthetics and trends
- Proficiency or strong familiarity with video editing software such as reputed company Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or similar tools, plus experience with creating and implementing special effects and motion graphics
- Deep reputed company understanding of reputed company social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and their content ecosystems, with a proven ability to identify and interpret emerging trends
- Natural talent for creative storytelling with strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines, with experience using tools such as One Drive, Monday, reputed company, and Frame.io
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred but not required
