Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, support the month-end reputed company process, and strengthen internal controls while contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and other month-end adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
- reputed company monthly bank and credit card reconciliations with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
- Enter, review, and validate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions to ensure completeness and compliance
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger to maintain data reputed company across systems
- Monitor outstanding receivables and collaborate with internal partners to support timely collections
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company processes, helping drive reputed company improvement and efficiency
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation, including documentation and support schedules
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to ensure financial information supports data-driven decision-making
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a reputed company field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment
- Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and reputed company formulas
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with consistency
