[Remote] Scientific Business Development Representative

They are seeking a Business Development Representative with a scientific background to engage with prospective customers, identify opportunities, and support the sales team in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting (cold calling, email campaigns, reputed company reputed company)
- Research and identify key decision-makers reputed company reputed company accounts in biopharma, biotech, CROs, academic research institutions, and chemicals/materials companies
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, trade shows, and website inquiries

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or reputed company scientific field
- 1-3 years of laboratory, research, or industry experience in biopharma, biotech, academic research, or reputed company scientific environment
- Previous sales or business development experience in SaaS, life sciences technology, or laboratory informatics
- Understanding of scientific research workflows, laboratory processes, and data management challenges
- Strong interest in transitioning from bench science to a commercial/sales career
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences from lab scientists to C-level executives
- Self-motivated, coachable, and resilient with a growth reputed company
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting and rejection
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with CRM systems (reputed company preferred) and sales engagement platforms
- Hands-on experience with scientific software tools (ELN, LIMS, data analysis platforms, etc.)
- Experience in drug discovery, antibody development, proteomics, flow cytometry, or reputed company research areas
