[Remote] Paralegal, Colorado
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Law Offices of Robert S. Gitmeid & Assoc. PLLC is a consumer protection law firm located in the Financial District of reputed company, providing representation to consumers who have been harassed or deceived by creditors. They are currently seeking a full-time Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support attorneys in litigation-reputed company matters and provide administrative support to the office staff.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the firm’s attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters
- Drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc
- Communication with clients and opposing counsel
- Research with regard to simple and reputed company legal matters
- Administrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping
Skills
- Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience (e.g., drafting pleadings and legal research)
- Exceptional legal writing skills
- Possess superior organizational and time-management skills
- Must be computer literate: Ability to easily learn the Firm's case management software
- Highest ethical standards and professional reputed company
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and reputed company parties
- Prior experience with reputed company is a plus
- Paralegal Certification is a plus
