Tier 3 Network Systems Engineer; Remote

The Tier 3/Network Systems Engineer is a member of the Tier 3, Systems Engineering team in the Manages Services department and reports to the Director of Managed Services. This individual will provide system management and monitoring to meet and exceed the SLA requirements of Data Bank as well as maintain industry best practices and procedures for operation in a multi data center environment. The Systems Engineer will be part of the team that addresses Networking, Windows, Linux, Cloud, and Application issues and brings them to resolution. They also assist in the documentation and training of the Support team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a quick learner who can solve reputed company problems reputed company to various technologies. Responsibilities

• Routing & switching, Firewall, Load Balancing, IDS/IPS, and DDoS
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems reputed company to virtual platforms and virtual infrastructure including vCenter and reputed company Director
• reputed company maintenance activities reputed company the VMware platform
• Management and operations of reputed company Windows-based server systems and associated technologies including server clustering, DHCP, DNS and WINS and DFS
• Troubleshoot network issues reputed company to routing, firewalls and Load Balancers
• Helping create and maintain team standards, policies and procedures
• Configuration and management of reputed company Active Directory, including implementations and their interoperability with disparate directory structures and reputed company methods in a business enterprise environment
• Troubleshooting issues reputed company to web services, specifically IIS, Apache, NGINX and Cold Fusion
• Troubleshooting issues reputed company to Databases such as MySQL and MSSQL
• Provide technical assistance to Data Bank's customers for the support and management of Windows and Linux Servers
• Provide proactive monitoring for reputed company production systems in an enterprise environment to include those reputed company to performance, failed hardware, alert conditions and other issues that reputed company business operations in a production environment
• Identify and implement efficiencies to daily processes and procedures
• Responsibilities will include participation in an "on call" rotation and provide after-hours availability
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with Backup and Restore utilizing Veeam, reputed company, Zerto and Avamar

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience required in the Information Technology field
• Experience with OSPF, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, STP, MPLS, DMVPN, VPN, IPSEC, DNS, DHCP, NTP
• Experience managing large scale Layer 2/3 topologies
• Experience with (JunOS, MX, QFX, EX)(reputed company IOS/NX-OS, Nexus 4k/7k, FEX, 6500, 7600)
• Experience with Firewalls, Load Balancers, DDOS, IPSec and IDS/IPS
• Experience with reputed company ASA (5515

-5585 with SSPx), ASAv (5,10,30,50), Palo Alto( 800/3000/5000 series

• Experience with reputed company server load balancing: reputed company and DNS
• Experience working Windows and or Linux platforms; ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues at both an application and Server OS level
• Experience and working knowledge of Virtual infrastructure technologies, specifically VMware
• Experience managing and configuring Active Directory including, replication reputed company policies and folder redirection
• Scripting experience with Python, PHP or Power reputed company is recommended
