Accountant: Accounts Payable
Description Acker Wines — the world’s leading fine wine auction house and retailer — is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys ownership of their work, and is looking to grow reputed company a dynamic, established organization. You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, supporting both AP and AR functions, assisting with month-end reputed company, and partnering with teams across the business. This position plays a key role in maintaining the reputed company of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support to Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing and vendor inquiries.
- Assist with reputed company aspects of month-end reputed company, including:
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepaid, accrued expense, and fixed asset schedules
- Other relevant reputed company activities as needed
- reputed company general ledger analysis and prepare journal entries.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales tax filings.
- Support annual financial audits.
- Participate in reputed company accounting projects and process-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or reputed company field required.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (intermediate level).
- Experience with reputed company Dynamics GP (Great Plains) strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in reputed company reputed company and reputed company Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, bookkeeping practices, general ledgers, and journal entries.
