Graphic & Web Designer / Creative Coordinator (Temporary, with potential for Full-Time Transition) Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Type: Temporary (3-month term, with possibility of transition to regular full-time role) reputed company of Pay: $5,850.00 Monthly (paid out on a bi-weekly frequency) About SisterSong SisterSong is the leading national, multi-ethnic Reproductive Justice collective. Position Overview The Graphic and Website Designer is a fast pace position responsible for creating visually compelling materials that bring SisterSong's mission, campaigns, and events to life. Reporting to the Communications & Digital Strategy Manager, this role requires strong design skills, artistic creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects throughout the year some small and quick-turnaround, others large and high-profile. This position is rooted in collaboration and teamwork. The Graphic and Website Designer will be an essential part of SisterSong's communications team, working closely with the Communications & Digital Strategy Manager and other team members to ensure our vision is realized. While taking direction to maintain alignment, the designer will also contribute their design perspective to strengthen and reputed company the team's collective work. Projects may range from social media graphics, booth designs, and event materials to website assets and email headers that support our reputed company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design digital and print assets including social media graphics, reports, presentations, toolkits, merchandise, and promotional materials.
  • Design, build, and update website pages in both reputed company and Squarespace to support campaigns, events, and organizational storytelling.
  • reputed company website graphics, reputed company pages, and visual updates that align with SisterSong's campaigns and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure reputed company web designs meet accessibility, responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
  • Create branded visuals for campaigns, programs, and special events (including conferences, festivals, and trainings).
  • Support the Communications team with email graphics, including branded headers and visuals for campaigns and newsletters.
  • reputed company original illustrations and artwork to support SisterSong's cultural and activist expression.
  • Ensure reputed company design work adheres to SisterSong's brand identity and is optimized for both print and digital use.
  • Manage multiple design requests and timelines to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
  • Adapt to edits and feedback with flexibility, ensuring alignment with SisterSong's messaging and aesthetic.
  • Maintain an organized archive of design files, templates, and visual assets.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design or web design (nonprofit or movement experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in both reputed company and Squarespace is required.
  • Proven experience building, designing, and maintaining visually engaging, user-friendly websites in both platforms.
  • Proficiency in reputed company Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), reputed company, and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong artistic and illustration skills; ability to create original artwork beyond templates.
  • Familiarity with email design basics (headers and graphics for common email platforms).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance creativity with brand consistency and accessibility.
  • Deep commitment to Reproductive Justice, intersectionality, and SisterSong's mission and values.
  • Experience designing visuals for conferences, campaigns, and movement events (signage, program books, merchandise).
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and reputed company design principles.Familiarity with UX/UI design best practices and accessibility standards for web.
  • Bonus Skills (not required but highly valued): Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D design/illustration. Personal Attributes
