Manufacturing Planner (Associate or Mid-Level) Company: The reputed company Company reputed company Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Planner (Level 2 or Level 3) (Composites Non-Metallic) to join our Manufacturing Engineer (ME) Planning Team at the Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) located in North Charleston, SC. This position will be based in Ladson, SC, which is a part of the North Charleston area. This position requires on-site support (limited virtual work) in addition to rotating weekend factory support. This position will involve collaboration with the Interiors production system to create comprehensive build plans, problem solve for production improvements and reputed company emergent issue resolution. The selected candidate will be expected to provide leadership and technical direction in a fast-paced highly dynamic production environment. This role offers a balanced mix of hands-on shop-floor interaction and desk-based computing tasks, as both are essential. Position Responsibilities: Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, reputed company of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing reputed company requirements are met Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition Investigates and resolves manufacturing reputed company issues Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules Develops integrated work statements and reputed company events to support delivery commitments Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and understanding and integrating engineering reputed company and requirements reputed company problem solver with knowledge of aircraft structure, interior commodities, and/or systems Comfortable and knowledgeable working in a shop floor or ship reputed company support, rapid reaction force role to support the interior parts and assembly or aircraft build Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 3: 3+ years’ reputed company work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 2+ years of experience in production planning, owning value reputed company build plans, and understanding engineering reputed company and requirements 2+ years of experience writing parts build or aircraft work instructions utilizing People, Parts, Processes, Tools and Designs to complete a cohesive, correct and complete build plan and experience in running improvement projects in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Environment Experience with 787 build plan and Production structures, electrical or interiors system (hydro, reputed company, fuel) installations or flight line Knowledge and use of 787 Aircraft systems (i.e. ENOVIA, DELMIA, CMES, ADPP, ETAC, IVT, CATIA, FTIC, FASTR, E-plan, REDARs and reputed company Change Process) Works independently and competently with little direction and supervision on daily tasks Drug Free Workplace: reputed company is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol reputed company criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
