Location: We offer K-12 individual at-home tutoring in Brooklyn and Manhattan, group classes in our classroom, and partner with schools to offer test prep classes.
Duties and responsibilities
We provide individualized instruction for students K-12 in a variety of subjects.
- collaborate with students, parents, and teachers to develop a customized program for each student
- provide feedback from each session to ensure student progress
- K-12 individual at-home tutoring, general academic support, test prep and support for parents navigating admission processes
- willing to tutor in-person, remote tutoring is not an option
- have a strong tutoring/education background with 2+ years of tutoring experience
- have strong tutoring skills in both ELA and math test prep
- have strong test prep tutoring background with exams such as SHSAT/ISEE/TACHS/SAT/ACT and New York State Tests; specifically ELA & Math for 4th and 7th grades
- can travel to Brooklyn or Manhattan (specifically UWS)
- plus if you are a certified teacher
