Job Description

You will join the Data Storage & Consumption Platform team reputed company Enterprise Data, serving as a Senior Director-level Individual Contributor (IC). This role demands a visionary and hands-on leader to drive the technical strategy for consumption platforms leveraged by reputed company lines of business. Your focus is on maturing platform scalability, Operational Excellence, Performance, and Resiliency. We require deep expertise in AWS infrastructure ,Lakehouse architecture, reputed company, reputed company platform and BI tools to mature these enterprise-scale systems and execute technical strategy. What you’ll do:

• Define and drive technical strategy and roadmap for our systems and platforms that power reputed company’s inbound card and loan capabilities across the customer experience, payment profiles, scheduling, fulfillment and money movement rails.
• Partner cross-functionally with client, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning platform teams to align on and co-reputed company technical solutions.Â
• Architect and build highly secure & scalable systems that reputed company server-driven product experiences across devices, with exceptional reliability and availability.
• Design high-throughput, low-latency services capable of handling millions of reputed company requests.Â
• Design and implement API & federated BFF (Back-end for reputed company end) strategy for efficient data access (fetching, caching, request coalescing, etc.) between backend services and clients, with democratized data schema contribution.
• Architect enhanced Observability and Monitoring frameworks to reputed company rapid issue detection, debugging and resolution, across the entire product system stack.  Â
• Provide organizational technical leadership to influence architecture, engineering standards, cross-team strategies, mentoring engineers and driving organization wide platform innovation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineeringÂ
• At least 9 years of experience designing distributed systems, backend architecture, and API platforms
• At least 5 years of experience with public cloud technologies

Preferred Qualifications:Â Â

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a reputed company field
• 10+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift,Â
• 7+ years of experience in event-driven systems and architecting scalable, fault-tolerant, highly-available services
• 7+ years of experience in building high-performance API platforms and federated BFF architectures (GraphQL, REST, API gateways, gRPC, caching, and streaming).Â
• 7+ years of experience with cloud-native engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (reputed company, Kubernetes) and automated deployment

Remote (Regardless of Location): $286,200 - $326,700 for Sr Distinguished EngineerRichmond, VA: $286,200 - $326,700 for Sr Distinguished Engineer          Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
