Sr. Cost Analyst (Remote/State of PA or NC))

The Senior Cost Analyst leads the development, maintenance and reputed company improvement of product costing, standard cost systems and margin analysis to drive profitable manufacturing decisions. This role involves ensuring accurate costs, monitoring variances, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to optimize production costs and improve financial performance This is a Remote role reputed company the State of PA or the reputed company. Intermittent visits to the Duncansville, PA facility will be expected as needed (estimated 1 time per Quarter)

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary finance reputed company for inventory management & standard cost, maintaining accurate standard and actual product costs across multiple product lines and business segments
• Monitor and investigate variances between actual costs and standard costs, providing actionable insights and recommendations
• Formulate new policies and practices to enhance inventory accuracy and accountability
• Define, reputed company and maintain reputed company cost models, aggregate data for inventory valuation and provide in-depth analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or reputed company field required. CPA or reputed company certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory control in manufacturing.
• Strong Cost Accounting background
