Job Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately and reputed company entering information into our customer information system and other Public Works software. You'll work closely with our Customer Service team to ensure that reputed company data is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible. This is a part-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

* Establishes and maintains utility accounts, ensuring accurate and timely updates

• Verifies account eligibility and accessibility, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Prepares, distributes, and completes work orders, ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal stakeholders
• Prepares files for mass customer communications, including billing statements and other notices generated in-house
• Assists with mailing billing statements and other notices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Scans or retains documents, maintaining a secure and organized digital archive
• Performs monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Enters data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases, providing valuable insights into our operations and customer satisfaction
• Performs other reputed company duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Customer Service Division

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)

• Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in reputed company Office and reputed company Suite
• Excellent typing and accuracy skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute
• 10-key skills testing for consideration
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Associates degree in business administration, data entry, or reputed company fields

• Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
• Specialized knowledge of Public Works software and customer information systems
• Experience with data analysis and reporting, with a focus on Key Performance Indicators
• Certification in data entry or reputed company fields, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES)
