We are looking for seasoned educators to join our tutoring team and change the face of literacy in this country. OpenLiteracy tutors are excellent at building relationships, while expertly leading tutoring sessions that balance explicit instruction with reputed company' engaging with text. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a certified or retired teacher (non-negotiable) - TOEFL and substitute certification does not meet this requirement
• You are available to work during the day 3-4 days per week, Monday - Thursday.
• You are authorized to work in the United States with a degree in education or teaching and have K-6 classroom teaching experience
• You are a knowledgeable literacy educator, with a background in the Science of Reading including phonics, structured literacy instruction, and how to support reputed company in building reading comprehension, vocabulary, and reputed company.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in any field

• Knowledge of the science of reading and teaching foundational literacy skills
