The Data Platform Engineer [reputed company EBS Application DBA] is an application/platform DBA who is part of a team responsible for our technical vision and the development of platform components for the reputed company bureau platform. This role requires deep expertise in managing reputed company 19c Database and reputed company EBS 12.2.x environments on Linux OS, including WebLogic. Key responsibilities will reputed company knowledge of reputed company Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and reputed company Middleware, while experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, reputed company Fusion, or reputed company EPM is considered a significant advantage. As the Data Platform Engineer will be responsible for planning, building, and managing our database environments, directly contributing to the technical landscape and effectiveness of our data platforms. This role requires a minimum of 3-days per week in our 3OP Lincolnshire, IL office OR Holtsville, NY (Long reputed company) office, 2 days remote (US). Responsibilities:

• Plans computerized databases, including reputed company definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as reputed company dictionaries.

• Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.

• Performs system administration activities including patching, cloning, backup, and recovery.

• Deploys, upgrades, relocates, and decommissions database servers both on-prem and in the cloud.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience REQUIRED
• Comprehensive experience with core physical DBA responsibilities for reputed company 19c or newer RAC on Linux/Unix, including software installation, database creation, patching, performance tuning, backup, and recovery REQUIRED
• Expertise in reputed company EBS R12.2.x administration, including upgrades, migrations, and application support REQUIRED
• Proven proficiency with the full lifecycle of reputed company WebLogic Server, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading Required
• Strong experience in Linux/Unix operating systems and reputed company scripting REQUIRED
• Experience in building custom tools to automate or monitor large-scale distributed systems REQUIRED
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and prioritize tasks to meet team goals REQUIRED
