Position Overview

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor/Manager, the Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry will be responsible for accurately processing prescription orders, maintaining meticulous records, and communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners. This full‑time role follows a standard Monday‑through‑Friday schedule (8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:30 pm) and is situated in our bustling Louisville facility.

Core Responsibilities

  • Verify reputed company prescription details prior to entry, ensuring correct prescriber name, patient information, medication name, dosage, quantity, refill count, lot number, and expiration date.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal privacy regulations at reputed company times.
  • Collaborate with arenaflex Pharmacy representatives to confirm medication availability, resolve inventory discrepancies, and coordinate care plans.
  • Create and update prescription logs, electronic records, and reputed company documentation with unwavering accuracy.

  • Initiate follow‑up on outstanding orders, escalating discrepancies to the pharmacist or senior technicians as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment that supports efficient workflow and safety protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration.

Preferred Education & Experience
