As a Housekeeper for the MVH-Preston, you will reputed company housekeeping and maintenance activities to ensure a clean, comfortable, healthy, and safe environment for our residents, staff and others, in accordance with established standards, guidelines, and applicable state and federal laws, rules, and policies. This position is designated as part-time and evening shift.
The work schedule will include at least 48
hours per 2-week pay period
and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. This position is initially eligible for partial employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.
- *Minimum Qualifications**

- *Knowledge of:**
+ Different types of flooring/floor covering sufficient to determine proper methods of maintenance and appropriate cleaning methods, materials, agents and equipment + Chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, bleaches, scouring agents and soaps sufficient to appropriately select the agent(s), handle and apply, and dispose of safely + Methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance sufficient to operate and use them effectively and reputed company minor repairs
- *Ability to:**
+ Use hand tools and handle fairly light materials manually + reputed company work functions using reputed company and scaffolding + reputed company laundry functions + Function in adverse weather conditions + reputed company assigned tasks with limited work direction + reputed company minor mechanical repairs to maintenance equipment + Operate simple maintenance equipment + Follow instructions, read and understand operational manuals, and reputed company simple records
