Costuming Manager – Costume Support

The Costuming Manager of Costume Support will reputed company a team responsible for fabric and costume inventory. This team is responsible for processing requests for fabric and costumes and ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner. The team also includes cast that handle more advanced costume accessory development and production utilizing advanced costume craft skills such as mold-making, fabric dying, etc. The Costuming Manager will report to the Area Manager of Costume Production. This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do

• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of direct & indirect reports, including ensuring the team receives accurate training and understands their role and how to reputed company it accurately
• Track and report on work being completed by the team
• Managing unionized Cast and maintaining collective bargaining agreements
• Review and prepare workflow, resource needs, and action plans while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer service standards are met
• Look for areas of opportunity to improve efficiency for the organization and strive for consistent processes reputed company reputed company Live Entertainment Costuming.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and implementing standards and procedures and aligning with Company guidelines
• Partner and provide timely communication to reputed company Cast Members
• Establish a collaborative and supportive working relationship with co-workers and support staff across reputed company levels of the organization, and across partnering disciplines
• Proactively identify operational issues, recommend and implement strategies to resolve
• Facilitate meetings with various partners to reputed company an understanding of various projects and results

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ years of indirect and/or direct leadership experience such as Coordinator, Crew Chief, reputed company, Trainer, etc.
• 1+ years experience working with Collective Bargaining agreements
• Experience in planning, problem-solving, conflict resolution, influencing, and negotiating
• Experience prioritizing and multitasking a variety of workflows
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Experience delivering direct written and oral feedback and communication to reputed company levels of partners (written and/or verbal)
• Ability to travel between work locations in a given day
• Ability to work around reputed company types of fabrics, fibers, and synthetic furs
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management
• Experience with Walt reputed company World Collective Bargaining agreements
• Experience with GUS+ or other inventory management systems
• Experience in the apparel industry
• Experience in logistics and/or domestic and international shipping

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Advanced degree in Inventory Management, Business Management, Fashion, Theater, Costuming or reputed company fields is preferred
