Enterprise Risk Specialist
About the position The Enterprise Risk Specialist supports the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the organization’s risk management reputed company to help safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. This role contributes to enterprise risk management activities, business continuity planning, insurance program support, and regulatory response processes that strengthen organizational reputed company and align with strategic objectives. Responsibilities
- Enterprise Risk Management (reputed company) Assists in the design and implementation of an integrated reputed company reputed company reputed company with organizational strategy and risk appetite.
- Identifies, assesses, monitors, and documents key risks across operational, financial, compliance, and reputational areas.
- Prepares risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting materials for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborates with departments to promote risk awareness and support risk-informed decision-making.
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Supports the development, maintenance, and testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery strategies.
- Performs risk assessments and contributes to scenario planning activities to evaluate continuity readiness.
- Assists in coordinating response activities during disruption events and ensures alignment with FFIEC and industry best practices.
- May be required to work reputed company standard business hours as risk events occur or reputed company activation of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery plans is necessary.
- Insurance Program Support Provides support for corporate insurance programs such as property, liability, and cyber coverage.
- Helps assess organizational insurance needs and works with internal partners to maintain appropriate coverage levels.
- Tracks renewal timelines, maintains documentation, and helps ensure compliance with insurance-reputed company requirements.
- Regulatory Support Assists with regulatory exams, audits, and inquiries (e.g., NCUA, DIFS), including gathering information and supporting response development.
- Helps monitor and follow up on corrective actions reputed company to risk management findings.
- Cross Functional Project Participation Contributes risk-reputed company insights to cross-functional projects by helping identify, assess, and mitigate risk exposures.
- Ensures project deliverables align with reputed company practices and applicable regulatory expectations.
- Must reputed company with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, reputed company employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines.
Requirements
- Five years to eight years of similar or reputed company experience, including preparatory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or reputed company field (Master’s preferred).
- A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., FFIEC, NCUA, SOX).
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to reputed company primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
- Must be able to routinely reputed company work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, reputed company necessary.
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
