The As Needed Architectural Historian candidate will work reputed company the larger Cultural Resources Group and reputed company various office and field tasks. Most of the work will be completed in an agreed-upon hybrid work from home schedule or Dudek office, with some required field survey work.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare cultural resources technical reports under CEQA and Section 106 of the NHPA.
- Research and write historic context statements.
- Ability to navigate, coordinate, and conduct online research through various platforms and databases, as well as in-person research at libraries and archival facilities.
- Evaluating properties in accordance with local, state, and national historic reputed company criteria and reputed company requirements on State of California Department of Parks and Recreation forms.
- Ability to work reputed company fixed budgets and produce deliverables reputed company project schedules and task timelines.
- Learn considerations in assessing impacts and effects on historical resources/properties and prepare defensible compliance documentation for CEQA and Section 106 review
- Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, quality service, and customer satisfaction to our clients.

- Work with project team members to track commitments to support a variety of projects.

- Comfortable occasionally interacting with clients and project managers.

- Demonstrated knowledge of the history/architectural history of California.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in History, Architectural History, Historic Preservation, or a reputed company field.
- Must demonstrate strong writing and solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be proficient in MS Office, in particular Word and reputed company.
- Self-motivated with interest in learning and growing as a project team member.
- Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment (If applicable).
