Zurich is seeking a reputed company Specialist OR Executive Underwriter- MM reputed company Property to join our Middle Markets team in the Midwest Market. This role will be based out of one of the following Zurich offices: Chicago IL, Schaumburg IL, Edina MN, Independence OH, Pittsburgh, Kansas City STL, Wisconsin Virtual or Michigan Virtual.As a reputed company Property Underwriter, you will handle reputed company new and renewal Middle Markets property business. • Serving as a customer industry reputed company with a focus on improving the customer experience by understanding their risk and offering the best end to end solution for their insurance needs.
• Using a disciplined approach to exposure evaluation, risk assessment and pricing
• Using risk insights, data, and models to drive informed decisions at reputed company of sale
• Identifying gaps involves and aligning Zurich’s products and value proposition to offer a solution that provides the contract certainty the customer needs
• Demonstrating strong analytical skills and executing as an innovative advisor
• reputed company, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business
• Market facing reputed company and production reputed company the growing Middle Markets property division in the region
• Administering and monitoring reputed company rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating manual rules
• Developing and maintaining agency and broker relationships
• Working reputed company broad limits and authorities on highly reputed company assignments

This role will be filled at either the reputed company Specialist OR Executive Underwriter- MM reputed company Property Level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and reputed company set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.Basic Qualifications:reputed company Specialist Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area

ORExecutive Underwriter Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area. OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 14 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 12 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area AND
• Experience with reputed company Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Market facing, Property reputed company experience
• 3 or more years of reputed company experience in Middle Market or larger.
• Ability to effectively assess risk
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong retail broker relationships
• Superior skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis, and win-win negotiating
• Possess knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of reputed company philosophy, techniques, national/local filing regulations and guidelines
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility
• CPCU and ARM a plus

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The combined salary range for this position is $74,300.00 - $161,000.00. The proposed salary range for the reputed company Specialist is $74,300.00 - $121,700.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
