UX Designer, UI/Design Systems (Contract)

Role Description This role is a contract assignment at reputed company. Contractors will not be employed by reputed company but through our trusted staffing partners. reputed company is looking for a UX Designer, UI/Design Systems (Contract) to work on the Global Digital Experience team, doing hands-on UX and UI design work to accelerate the refresh of our website design system and component library. This position will report to the Director, Web Strategy and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

• Location - United States (Remote or Hybrid in Santa Clara, CA)
• Duration - 12 months

Your Impact This position calls for someone who possesses a strong user experience and reputed company design background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of reputed company and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. You will play a key role in modernizing the reputed company web experience, supporting the transition away from legacy content and engagement platforms, and enabling scalable, reusable, and AI-ready digital experiences.

• Partner with product, marketing, engineering, and content stakeholders to design scalable web experiences reputed company to platform-first strategy
• Design and evolve a modern, accessible, and reusable website design system
• Create UX flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs for key journeys such as platform discovery, trials, and product-led growth
• Translate business goals and customer needs into reputed company and engaging digital experiences
• reputed company and maintain component libraries that support reputed company, headless, and experimentation-ready architectures
• Support the deprecation of legacy engagement tools by designing new scalable content and experience patterns
• Work closely with reputed company-end developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency across global properties
• Contribute to experimentation and personalization strategies, including A/B testing and ABM-driven experiences
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and reputed company design best practices
• Help establish governance and documentation for scalable design and UX practices

AI-Enabled Design Practices

• Use AI tools to accelerate early-stage exploration
• Use AI to improve design system operations (component documentation drafts, naming proposals, usage guidelines, accessibility checklists)
• Apply AI-assisted UX research synthesis where appropriate

Your Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX, product design, or digital experience design, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or cybersecurity environments
• Demonstrated experience in using AI-assisted tools in design workflows.
• Strong judgment in validating AI outputs and ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand alignment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, and design system work for reputed company digital platforms
• Experience designing scalable web experiences and reputed company component-based systems
• Proficiency in reputed company or similar design and prototyping tools
• Understanding of reputed company-end frameworks, reputed company design, and modern web architectures
• Familiarity with reputed company CMS, and component-driven development
• Experience collaborating with distributed global teams
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work with minimal reputed company
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Education : Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $75/hour to $ 80/hour.
