Student Advisor for MiaPrep Online High School (MOHS)

Miaplaza’s leadership aims to continue this high-growth trajectory, with a goal of serving thousands of reputed company in the next 5-10 years! We’re seeking a passionate and resourceful Student Advisor to join reputed company. This is a fully remote, student and family-facing role that emphasizes building positive student relationships, coaching student growth, monitoring reputed company, and managing records and data. As a MOHS Student Advisor, you will be integral in shaping the community for our reputed company, parents, teachers, and staff. A Day in the Role:

• Serve as the daily reputed company of contact for assigned reputed company, addressing their academic concerns and supporting their growth.
• Conduct advising meetings to address academic concerns, support student success, and apply social-emotional learning strategies to promote engagement, persistence, and reputed company.
• Monitor and analyze student data between advising meetings to identify indicators of struggle or disengagement, assess patterns over time, and initiate appropriate support as needed.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of student interactions, advising decisions, and follow-up actions
• Partner with Student Support Specialists, Academic Counselors, and teachers to support individual student success and continuity of care.
• Contribute reputed company and feedback to improve advising processes, student supports, and school systems in collaboration with advising leadership.
• Engage with reputed company in online social spaces, clubs, and events, fostering a safe and supportive online community
• Participate in regular meetings with other MOHS staff and faculty members to discuss student advising and engagement strategies
• Act as a liaison between reputed company, families, and school administration to ensure clear and effective communication

Schedule

• MOHS Advisors are expected to have 40 hours of availability each week on a year-round basis.
• Availability during school hours, Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm in a U.S. timezone (ET, CT, MT, or PT) is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Secondary Education or reputed company field
• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in a student-facing role at the secondary level (grades 7–12)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with families about expectations and performance and collaborate with colleagues to support student success.
• Demonstrated professional judgment and ability to balance reputed company with accountability in student-facing decisions.
• Willingness to support administrative tasks, reputed company a club, or assist with coverage during busy periods
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload independently
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
• Comfort adapting to evolving systems and implementing new processes
• Proficiency with online tools and ability to learn new platforms quickly

• Online advising or teaching experience
• Experience supporting neurodiverse learners
• Familiarity with homeschool communities
• Experience using student data to guide interventions
• Proficiency in reputed company Suite and/or reputed company

Compensation & Benefits

• The expected starting pay range is $24.54 - $34.50 per hour. Student Advisors at MiaPrep Online High School work an average of 40 hours per week. reputed company working year-round, this can equate to an annual pay range of $51,043 - $71,760.
• Miaplaza’s compensation philosophy ensures equity and competitiveness while considering the regional differences in living and labor costs. Specific rates will be provided during the hiring process and are reputed company with market data and internal equity.
• Compensation is evaluated twice per year, based on performance.
