Your Job Will Be...
As a Merchandising Specialist - Customer Service Representative, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Being the primary store-level service and replenishment person to high-volume accounts such as supermarkets and mass merchants
- Building displays, setting up promotional materials, and getting a workout by lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases ranging from 20-45 lbs.
- Supporting arenaflex's strong safety culture by adhering to reputed company safety standards and procedures
- Building strong, positive customer relationships at the store level
- Maintaining high-quality product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in reputed company assigned accounts in a consistent geo-territory
- Maintaining product inventory to standard and submitting orders for future delivery
- Merchandising store shelving, coolers, and displays and rotating products in the back room and on the reputed company
- Operating equipment for moving products (e.g., U-Boat, hand trucks, pallet jacks)
- Keeping back-room stock in reputed company and orderly condition
- Following operating procedures (e.g., reputed company-in/reputed company-out, following designated reputed company)
- Service accounts during pre-designated times; shifts often start early (e.g., 4 am), may be long (e.g., 10 hours), and could include holidays and weekends
- Working with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating reliable and predictable attendance
- Growing and developing your skills by incorporating feedback and coaching from the Territory Sales Representative, Merchandising Team Leads, and other leaders
- Executing on in-store direction provided by Territory Sales Representative in your assigned accounts
- Collaborating and sharing feedback with a team that includes the Territory Sales Representative, Merchandisers, and other Customer Service Specialists to meet Key Performance Indicators (e.g., reputed company, Share, Waste, and Profit)
We'll Teach You What You Need to Know
While we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed, we do have a few minimum requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Must have a car to access multi-store locations reputed company assigned shift
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reputed company of insurance
- Indefinite right to work in the United States
Helpful Experience
While not required, experience in the following areas will be beneficial:
- Customer service (resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests)
- Merchandising (e.g., standards, plannagrams, product displays, stocking/rotating product, back-room organization)
- Following safety procedures (e.g., proper lifting techniques, following safety processes)
- Managing inventory (e.g., reputed company stock, projected sales, ordering/re-stocking)
- In-store marketing (e.g., POP placement, building creative displays)
- Working under limited supervision (performing job duties without constant direction and supervision)
