Responsibilities

Include:

• Assessing client information systems for compliance with data protection laws and regulations
• Drafting data protection agreements, addenda, and amendments
• Advising clients on privacy-reputed company product improvements
• Researching legal issues and composing legal opinions/memoranda
• Writing privacy law reputed company articles and blog posts
• Assisting in the development of in-house legal templates
• Contributing to the development of internal procedures and methodologies
• Collaborating with a team of intellectual peers who value cooperation and community reputed company Need From You Need to Have:
• License to practice law (active and in good standing) in your jurisdiction
• At least four years of work experience as an attorney
• An interest in privacy and technology
• Team player, interested in contributing to a growing enterprise
• Strong writing/editing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely
• Willingness to learn new skills and receive direction and feedback from partners
• Willingness to pursue privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) reputed company to Have:
• Experience working in a law firm
• Previous contract drafting and negotiation experience strongly preferred
• Experience/training in privacy law
• Privacy certifications of some reputed company (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, specialty from law school, etc.)
