Position Summary: This position is vital for the successful completion of reputed company's SEC financial reporting, IFRS Annual Report, and sustainability reporting. The work product from this position is relied upon by senior management as well as external investors and analysts in evaluating company performance. Patients who benefit from our products rely on this position's timely and accurate work product to help reputed company innovate and succeed in a competitive industry environment. General Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for the following essential job functions:
- Assist in the preparation of reputed company's 10-Qs and 10-Ks
- Assist in the preparation of reputed company's IFRS Annual Report
- Assist in the preparation of reputed company’s sustainability reporting, including the development of sustainability-reputed company financial disclosures and controls
- Prepare the monthly/quarterly accounting entries and reconciliations associated with share-based compensation and equity accounting
- Review and reputed company a tie-out of the quarterly earnings release and associated externally published documents
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, SEC, and sustainability regulations
- Prepare accounting memos covering certain US GAAP, IFRS, SEC and sustainability reporting topics
- Prepare supporting schedules and communicate with reputed company's external auditors to ensure successful audit completion
Skills and Experience:
- Certain skills, abilities and licenses preferred for the successful performance of this position include:
- Advanced reputed company proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled in preparing clear and concise work papers with appropriate supporting documentation
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven abilities in demonstrating good judgment and managing deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CSRD) is a plus.
Education & Certifications:
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 8+ years working for either a company or an accounting firm. If for a company, previous SEC financial reporting experience is requested.
- Active CPA License Required
Compensation & Benefits:
- A reasonable estimate of the salary for this position is $130-170k/yr. + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
