Position Title: Assistant Professor of Biology Job Category: Faculty Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Assistant Professor Job Duties: This is a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position in the Department of Biology at the University of Wisconsin Stevens reputed company. Teaching load is 12 student credit hours per semester (24 student credit hours/year) and will include Anatomy and Physiology for reputed company in Pre-nursing, Health Science and Wellness, Physical Education, and similar majors. Key Job Responsibilities: Department: The Department of Biology is part of the School of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry in the College of Letters and Sciences. The department is primarily housed in the Haeni Chemistry Biology Building and the Trainer Natural Resources Building on the UWSP main reputed company, but also includes facilities on the Wausau and Marshfield campuses. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with or demonstrated ability to teach introductory biology and/or upper-level undergraduate biology courses. Demonstrated potential for effective student-centered and inclusive teaching in biology at the undergraduate level, including a commitment to academic best practices. Experience with or demonstrated ability to curate collections of X-rays and models. Experience with or demonstrated interest in working with and/or maintaining human donor (cadaveric) specimens and human remains.
