Law Clerk - Operations Specialist

Under the general supervision of the Manager & Counsel, the Law Clerk- Operations Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end processing of garnishments, levies, and other similar third-party legal orders for select reputed company entities and providing other administrative support as required. The Law Clerk- Operations Specialist will be responsible for:
- Intake, processing and responding to garnishments, levies, asset freezes, restraining notices and information subpoenas and similar legal orders as required.
- Ensuring that responses and actions reputed company to garnishments, levies, and similar third-party legal orders reputed company with relevant federal and state laws.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of applicable federal and state laws, and policies and procedures reputed company to the processing of legal orders.
- Navigating multiple systems and platforms and adapting to new technologies.
- Providing administrative support to the legal order processing team as required.
- Following escalation procedures reputed company to legal orders and alerting the supervisor reputed company required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and reputed company Acrobat.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to quickly train on, navigate, and extract information and reputed company actions on a variety of databases and information platforms.
- Comfortable with learning new processes and using technology tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or prior experience as a legal assistant in a law firm or in-house legal department role preferred.
- Prior experience with processing levies, garnishments, and other legal orders.
- Sense of urgency and ability to discern critical matters.
- Manage workload to ensure that court or agency-imposed deadlines are met and responses are complete and accurate.
- Ability to use good judgment in decision making.
- Able to work under pressure while requiring minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Salary Range: $20.00 to $35.82 hourly + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected hourly pay range for this job requisition.
