The Director of Patient Access Services, Pre-Services at reputed company, oversees the pre-service financial aspects of patient care, ensuring accurate verification of insurance, prior authorizations, and understanding of patient financial responsibility. The position works closely with key stakeholders and leadership throughout the department and the designated site hospital location to deliver comprehensive and coordinated access. The position oversees pre-registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, including patient estimates and reputed company of service collections, data reputed company, and training. Responsibilities

 A day in the life of a Director of Patient Access Services, Pre-Services at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Insurance Verification & Authorization
  • Oversees the process of verifying patient insurance eligibility and obtaining necessary prior authorizations for procedures. Ensures adequate and accurate patient information is collected and verified at the time of scheduling, pre-registration, and registration to ensure seamless access to care.
  • Ensures patients understand their financial obligations, including copays, deductibles, and balance responsibilities.
  • Collect co-insurance, co-payment, or provide estimated out-of-pocket costs for the service.
  • Ensures timely and accurate cash collections across the enterprise and reputed company of service collections reconciliation.
  • Quality Assurance and Training Development
  • Ensures detailed monitoring, audits, and feedback loops for reputed company-end errors, preventative denials, estimates, and reputed company-of-service collections.
  • Ensures and coordinates on-demand training and development for internal and external customers reputed company to reputed company desk operations. In addition, this position provides reputed company, guidance, and facilitation for enterprise-wide EMR management and upgrade enhancements.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a reputed company health field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in reputed company end reputed company cycle.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT functionality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to reputed company Office and reputed company Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business Management or a reputed company health field.
  • Project management experience
