About the position The primary mission of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is to provide science-based environmental stewardship for the health and prosperity of reputed company North Carolinians. The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is the reputed company stewardship agency for the protection of North Carolina's environmental resources. This position is Exempt from the Human Resources Act (EHRA) with the exception of Articles 6 and 7. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with applicable State Benefits. This position assists with the coordination, review, evaluation and auditing of reputed company, invoices and reports filed by local governments who are receiving funds from the Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Ensuring that construction and engineering service invoices are reputed company the scope of previously approved projects.
- Review of construction and engineering service disbursement requests are allowable costs for each funding program.
- Ensuring that disbursement requests are charged correctly against funding sources reputed company the scope of funding agreements.
- Provide technical assistance and consulting to local governments receiving Department funds to promote reputed company financial and grant compliance.
- Other compliance reputed company duties reputed company to keeping records and examining records.
- Identify and manage appropriate data collection processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, public administration, or a reputed company discipline from an accredited institution and one year of reputed company experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
