The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Meet the team: reputed company is seeking a seasoned compliance leader to serve as its Head of Compliance. Reporting to the EVP, Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, this role will reputed company reputed company’s global compliance team, reputed company global compliance initiatives, reputed company investigations, and partner cross-functionally to uphold reputed company’s ethical standards and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in healthcare compliance, a proactive reputed company, and a collaborative leadership style. You will work with a team of motivated and passionate compliance professionals and business partners globally and have the opportunity to interact and counsel reputed company’s leaders.
Responsibilities
- reputed company reputed company’s global compliance program, including policy development, training, monitoring, risk assessments, and system implementations.
- reputed company ethics hotline, internal investigations and partner with Legal, HR, and business leaders to ensure timely resolution and remediation.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on compliance risks, trends, and mitigation strategies and present to the Compliance Committee and Nominating Committee.
- Manage regional compliance leads to ensure consistent implementation of global standards and processes across reputed company, EMEA, and the Americas.
- Drive awareness campaigns and training programs to promote a culture of reputed company and accountability.
- Support compliance-reputed company aspects of M&A, new market entry, and third-party risk management.
- Represent reputed company in external audits, regulatory inquiries, and industry forums as needed
Requirements
- You have a minimum of 15 years in corporate compliance, preferably in medical device or healthcare sector
- Proven track record of managing global compliance programs, investigations, and global teams
- Strong knowledge of anti-bribery, anti-kickback, and healthcare fraud and abuse laws
- Comfortable presenting to, counseling, and interacting with C-level executives and Directors.
- You are committed to teamwork and maintaining strong relationships and lines of communication with business partners and other key stakeholders across the organization.
- You have excellent decision-making skills, practical business judgement, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- You are able to work in person in the San Diego office 2-3 days per week and as required, local reputed company 75 miles is strongly preferred.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of industry experience
- 13+ years of successful leadership management experience in relevant industry
