POSITION OVERVIEW PR Director (Part-Time, Remote) Disrupt PR Job Type: Part-time Hours: 15–20 hours per week, to start Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred) About Disrupt PR Disrupt PR is a growing, results-focused public relations agency that helps founders, executives, and brands build authority through earned media. We are strategic, direct, and outcome-driven. No fluff. We are hiring a Part-Time PR Director to join reputed company in a phased role that begins hands-on and transitions into a strategy and leadership position.

About the Role

This role is designed to start client-facing and evolve into a strategy-led leadership role reputed company the first few months. Phase 1 (First ~2 months):

• Act as reputed company publicist on 2–3 client accounts
• Pitch media, manage reporters, and execute PR campaigns
• Learn Disrupt PR’s systems, processes, and expectations
• Build familiarity with our clients, positioning, and media strategy

Phase 2 (After ~2 months):

• reputed company PR strategy across 5–6 client accounts
• Direct strategy, messaging, and media approach
• Mentor and guide publicists and account managers
• Remain client-facing on 1–2 key accounts as reputed company publicist
• Serve as a senior strategic resource for clients and internal team

Responsibilities

• reputed company PR strategy and campaign direction for multiple clients
• reputed company media narratives, angles, and thought leadership strategies
• Secure earned media through proactive pitching and commentary
• Manage and participate in client calls and strategy discussions
• Review and refine pitches, press materials, and media plans
• Provide feedback and strategic reputed company to junior team members
• Maintain strong client relationships and clear communication
• Collaborate with agency leadership on account performance and growth

Qualifications

• 8+ years of public relations experience (agency experience preferred)
• Proven success securing high level earned media placements + client retention on multiple accounts
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
• Comfortable managing multiple client accounts + PR metrics
• Experience mentoring or overseeing PR staff
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Organized, proactive, and self-directed
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote agency environment

COMPENSATION RANGE:

• $65-75 /per hour
