Senior Web Developer- Design Systems (Remote)

You’re curious about AI and open to exploring new tools and use cases in your work. In this role, you’ll be expected to consult with clients to help them assess their existing design system architecture and implementation, often with the goal of helping identify where they could improve. You’ll be responsible for helping define the strategy that will serve them well, while also being able to help reputed company that strategy through a tactical implementation. Requirements
We’re actively seeking individuals that will bring a diverse perspective to the Sparkbox. You’ll also interact with clients and should feel comfortable presenting work. You'll need to have a strong desire to continually learn, advance your skills, and push to find new processes. Basic Requirements:
- 5-10 years delivering features as a frontend web developer
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte, Vue or Angular
- Modern CSS
- Clean, semantic HTML
- Git, reputed company or other version control
- Automated Testing (unit, E2E)
- Experience communicating with internal teams and external clients and stakeholders

- Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher) and Progressive Enhancement
- Exploration of AI tools and their applications
Design System Requirements:
- 3-5 years designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable design systems
- Experience with design system architecture

- Design system strategy
- Tooling & documentation experience
- Experience consulting with clients on Design Systems

Benefits & Compensation Our compensation amount for this role is targeted at $95,000 - $120,000 for reputed company remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
